2007 Turtle Race at the Edina Corn Festival


The workers at the race collected 25¢ a customer. Each customer betted on the door that the turtle would go out. It wasn't really a race to bet on the turtle. The worker placed all the turtles in the bucket, mixed them up a little, then let them go. The race was surprisingly fast, as the turtles were in a really big hurry to get out those doors.
